We have been busy, busy! School is finally over, and while it was our worst semester EVER, we are just relieved to be done with it and moving on. We've both just been working and relaxing when we get a chance. Paul has been pulling double duty working for my dad at his store, but even still it's like a vacation without having school on top of it! I put in my notice with my boss and my last day at work is the 4th of June. I'm so sad to leave, but excited to start a new life with my son :) We have been attending birthing class for the last few weeks. It's been pretty informative if nothing else. We got to go on a hospital tour last week, which was awesome! It's a really great hospital and we're really happy that we'll be having the baby there.
Speaking of which, we had our second ultrasound. James is measuring over 5 pounds and his head is measuring at 38 weeks. You know it's bad news when your doctor laughs nervously and wishes you luck with that. At least we know he's healthy! I am not really enjoying myself at this stage and am glad that the baby is doing well, but I'm really hoping that he has the urge to come a little early. I'm so uncomfortable, and now that it's warming up I can't wear one single pair of shoes--just flip flops. I feel like such a bum sometimes in my big t-shirts (well, Paul's t-shirts) and sandals. We are now 6 weeks away from the due date and we're getting pretty nervous. We were finally able to get a crib and it's taken a HUGE stress off of us both. We've started a list of all the things we need to accomplish before James is born, which I'm sure will add to our busy lives even more.
I celebrated my 25th birthday earlier this month. Perhaps the only consolation to turning 25 is that Paul will soon be celebrating his 33rd birthday in two weeks. No matter how old I get, he'll always have me beat :) We'll also be celebrating our 2 year anniversary this month. Sometimes it's hard to believe that it's been that long, but most of the time I feel like we've been married for SO much longer than that. Not in a bad way or anything, it just SEEMS so much longer than two years! Anyways, I've attached a few pictures of what we've been up to lately. Enjoy!
The Remodel at the Hogi Yogi. It's lookin' good!
Daddy just being himself at the Hogi Yogi. Who wouldn't want to order a yogurt from this guy?

My brother Ryan and Sarah. Aren't they so cute? They are getting married on July 11th! Sadly, I won't be able to make the trip to San Diego with a little newborn, but I'm very excited for them!
James!! Everyone says he looks just like Paul. I would have to agree. Even the doctor mentioned it...he also commented on his squishy little cheeks :)
